Invoices Data Model

Invoices are the financial records generated from Orders, requesting payment from the Customer.

Note: Invoices are often managed by external systems (e.g., Stripe, QuickBooks) and mirrored in SureInk.

  • Key Fields:
    • invoiceNumber: Unique financial reference.
    • amountDue: Total to be paid.
    • status: Payment status (e.g., Paid, Overdue).

Relationships​

Invoice -> Order​

  • Type: One-to-One
  • Description: Typically, one Order generates one Invoice, though split billing is possible.
